MATCH TWO OF THE WAC WOMEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT

We are into the second match of the WAC Women's Soccer Tournament.....
We are joining you half way through the first half of the Hawai'i Nevada match.
So far we are tied 1-1 with 6:36 remaining in the first half.

As media relations intern, Trevor Edy predicted....it is now dark out. (see Kenny Chesney)

Just prior to time expiring on the clock Natalie Ratnavira, assisted by Miranda Montejo notched another goal to lift the Wolf Pack to a 2-1 lead over the Raindow Wahine heading into the half time.

A little Nelly is blaring over the speakers for our half time entertainment...a little "#1"

The teams are back on the field and the second half is now underway.

The Nevada Wolf Pack are still leading 2-1.

Both teams are playing aggressively. Nevada had tallied nine fouls while the Hawai'i has six.

Injury timeout.

The ball is now back in play with Hawai'i taking a corner kick. The corner kick did not produce any results for the Rainbow Wahine.

34:32 remain in the second half of the match.

33:57 Save by Hawaii's Kori Lu.

31:08 Save by Hawaii's Kori Lu.

Nevada has a pretty good student turnout...they are participating in today's festivities chanting Wolf - Pack Wolf - Pack Wolf - Pack. I am sure the student athelte's appreciate the support from their fellow students.

Nevada is on the attack with six shots on goal.

For those of you who don't know the Soccer Tournament is taking place in Mackay Stadium home not only to Nevada's women's soccer team but also to the Wolf Pack football program. For the past few minutes the ball has been between the 40 yard line (N) and the 20 yard line (S).

Nevada has increased their shots on goal to eight....they really want a decisive "W" this evening!

13:34 remains in the second half of the match with the Nevada Wolf Pack in the lead 2-1.

10:38 left and the crowd is still into the competition.

Injury timeout. A Nevada and Hawai'i student athlete collided midfield.
Both student athletes are up and walking off the field on their own.

7:17 left in the contest.

For video quotes from the coaches and student athletes check out our WAC Tournament Central Page on WACSports.com

Nevada was on a roll but went off sides with 2:48 left in the match.

Hawai'i is feeling the pressure of time and scrambling to score.

Just under a minute left in the match.

The match is over. Sixth seed Nevada knocked off the third seed Hawai'i in the second match of the WAC Soccer Tournament.

We will be back again tomorrow for the third match of the tournament featuring the top seed Utah State Aggies and the fourth seeded Boise State Broncos.

See ya tomorrow!
