New Mexico State Baseball breaks into the Top 25

Its not easy breaking into national rankings, but with their best start since 1990 , the New Mexico State baseball program has cracked the Top 25. The Aggies are currently ranked No. 24 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper NCAA Division I baseball poll.

The Aggies (20-3) boast a team batting average of .381, have 58 home runs on the season and victories of No. 20 New Mexico and San Fransisco.

The Aggies currently lead the nation in offense with 12.6 runs per game and are fourth in the nation in scoring margin at +7.2. The team also leads the conference in home runs with 58. Short stop Bryan Marquez (3/16) and catcher Jeff Farnham (3/2) have each received the weekly WAC honor of Player of the Week.
